Several, including the Rothbard post, lean on the Hayekian "prices as information" framing while crediting it to Mises. For example, "Central planning doesn't fail because planners are stupid, but because planners are blind" ([Oct 21](https://x.com/Handre/status/2112856843970056548)). One reply accused the Rothbard post of "AI-isms." That is a stylistic opinion, and I did not verify it. ## Analyzed posts (newest first) | Posted (CT) | Post | Analysis | Verdict in brief | |---|---|---|---| | Oct 23, 2026, 6:37 AM | [Which way, modern nation-state?…](https://x.com/Handre/status/2113595541535801650) (137 likes, read about 10:02 PM CT) | [[Topics/Economic Freedom and Prosperity/Post Analysis - Handre on Economic Freedom Case Studies (2026-10-23)\|Economic freedom case studies]] | Principle broadly supported, but country facts bent: HK tax not flat or always under 15%; Argentina 12th, not top ten, in 1930; Ireland's growth lead came before 2003; France's 75% levy raised €420m, about as forecast. | | Oct 23, 2026, 3:23 AM | [Why does everything a government touches turn to shit?…](https://x.com/Handre/status/2113546801760403793) (250 likes, read about 8:45 AM CT) | [[Topics/Murray Rothbard/Post Analysis - Handre on Power and Market (2026-10-23)\|Power and Market]] | Book thesis and typology accurate. Misattributes Hayek's price-information framing to Mises. | At the latest read (Oct 23, about 10:02 PM CT) the account had 62,114 followers, 5,201 following, 15,298 posts and 432 lists. ## Assessment for source reliability A free-market advocate and paid writer with a large following. His posts are **advocacy, not scholarship**: no citations, sometimes simplified intellectual history. Doctrinal summaries can be accurate, as the Rothbard post shows, but check them against primary sources. The Oct 23 post shows the same pattern: the summary of the book is faithful, but the illustrative example and its history are its own and partly wrong. The Oct 23 economic-freedom post is his first evidence-based case in this set, and most of its country facts bend toward the thesis. Some contradict his own earlier posts (Cowperthwaite's term, Argentina's peg, the Irish crash), so treat his numbers as unverified until checked. ## Sources - X API reads of the profile, the 24 recent posts and the post conversation (Oct 21, 2026): https://x.com/Handre - handre.co (personal site): https://handre.co - The analysed posts: https://x.com/Handre/status/2112782486409252882 (Oct 21) · https://x.com/Handre/status/2113546801760403793 (Oct 23, read Oct 23, 2026) · https://x.com/Handre/status/2113595541535801650 (Oct 23, read about 10:02 PM CT Oct 23, 2026)
