Hub: [[Topics/Gaza War Destruction and Casualty Data/Gaza War Destruction and Casualty Data|Gaza War Destruction and Casualty Data]]
UNOSAT's Comprehensive Damage Assessments (CDAs) classify structures from very-high-resolution satellite imagery as destroyed, severely damaged, moderately damaged or possibly damaged. Every product carries the caveat that it is "a preliminary analysis and has not yet been validated in the field". The figures below were copied from each product page opened on Oct 24, 2026.

- **Possibly damaged** is reported only from later assessments. To keep his series consistent, @seekersomething summed destroyed + severe + moderate (174,437 for Oct 2025); that excludes the 23,836 possibly damaged structures.
- **Implied base.** 198,273 / 0.81 ≈ 245K structures, which matches his "245,000".
- **Municipalities, Oct 2025** (affected structures; [PDF](https://www.un.org/unispal/wp-content/uploads/2025/11/OCHA-CBPF-OPT-031_UNOSAT_A3_GazaStrip_CDA_11October2025.pdf)): Gaza City 41,663 · Rafah City 25,149 · Khan Yunis City 25,003 · Jabalya 16,708 · Beit Lahiya 11,537.

- **Imagery dates fall early or mid-month,** not "most often" at month-end as he says.
- **Demolitions** after capture, and after the Oct 10 ceasefire, are counted in the same categories as bomb damage ([BBC Verify](https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/c0mxylxw48yo); [BBC, 2025](https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/resources/idt-33fccfbe-abcc-4af1-bdd2-632b2787cf59)).
