Written from YouTube's English captions, which cover only the one spoken line before the music starts, plus the on-screen frames and the description. ## Outline - **0:00–0:04 – The question.** - Werner stands by his bike holding two Insta360 X5s on selfie sticks, one with an ND filter and one without. Overlay text: "ND 64 or no ND filter". He says: "ND filter or no ND filter on the X5. Let's make a comparison." ![[images/Insta360 X5 ND Filter Test-t0001.webp]] - **0:04–0:18 – Split-screen comparison (music only).** - The screen is split: the top half is labeled **X5 - ND 64** and the bottom half **X5 NO FILTER**. Both clips were shot on the same ride along a stone-walled road with mountains behind. - First a first-person handlebar view, then third-person "invisible selfie stick" shots of the cyclist riding toward the camera. - With ND 64, the shutter is slower, so the wall and road show natural **motion blur**. Without a filter, the image is sharper per frame but the motion looks choppier/staccato. Exposure and color look very similar. ![[images/Insta360 X5 ND Filter Test-t0005.webp]] ![[images/Insta360 X5 ND Filter Test-t0009.webp]] ![[images/Insta360 X5 ND Filter Test-t0013.webp]] ![[images/Insta360 X5 ND Filter Test-t0016.webp]] - There's no spoken verdict.
