Hello lovely patrons! The poll results are in, and the majority of you have voted for a video on keeping your style consistent! I'm super excited to make this video for you and I have a ton of ideas for it. I want to talk about what causes inconsistency, the role of your workflow and technique, and which design elements can help create a consistent look. In order to make sure I cover this topic thoroughly, I have a question for you: do you struggle to have a consistent style? Is it a general issue you have, or do you mainly struggle with it in specific situations, like projects or social media? I'd love to hear from you 🤍 Tell me all about your feelings on this topic! In the meantime, I will continue to put together my notes for this video. Thanks so much for reading!

### TUTORIAL // sculpting with color
Sculpting with color is my absolute favorite workflow! I use it for my digital sketches, but also for my detailed paintings. It's super versatile! It's all about jumping straight from your rough sketch to color, which means you don't have to waste a ton of time cleaning up your lines. It's also intuitive, fun, and super efficient. I developed this workflow over the course of many years, and this tutorial video is the most definitive resource on how to do it! Key lessons include: How to paint quickly, intuitively and efficiently using this workflow How to use the eyedropper tool, layer modes and color editing tools to create a strong color setup How to leave the details to the end of the process to save time and energy 3 different variations of this workflow This video is 41 minutes long, and comes with subtitles and a cheat sheet that gives an overview of the most important information from the video!

### PDF // finding your style - exercise booklet
This is an exercise booklet that was released with the Kickstarter edition of my third artbook, The Style of Loish! The Style of Loish is all about finding your style and has lots of exercise suggestions to help you on your journey. This accompanying exercise booklet is intended as a companion to the book, and is full of worksheets, exercises, and ideas that will help you find your own artistic style! This is a PDF version of the booklet, which is 45 pages long - 18 of which are blank pages to make room for sketching, so that's 27 pages of worksheets and exercise information. You can print it out, use it digitally, or just consult it as a guide! Flame and spark members can get it for free.

### TUTORIAL // soft & hard edges with the lasso tool
This tutorial is about a very specific workflow I use: combining the lasso tool and a brush or gradient so that you have perfect edge control, but also softer edges that blend beautifully into your drawing. In this video, I run you through this process in both Photoshop and Procreate, and discuss the benefits and advantages of working this way! Key lessons include: How you can create interesting selections with the lasso tool Which brushes you can use to get a nice mix of soft and hard edges How you can slowly build up detail iin a way that gives texture and interest to your drawing This tutorial is 28 minutes long, and comes with subtitles and a cheat sheet that gives an overview of the most important information from the video!
