2. **What stage of development is the Omara currently in?**
- The Omara is currently in the Beta product development phase, but will be ready for release in 2026.
**Is the final design or form factor already decided upon, or is it still subject to change?**
- It has been decided, but that version has not yet been released to the public. Stay tuned for the official release!
**How is the Omara intended to generate and deliver scents?**
- The Omara has an internal air pump that will pressurize the scent chamber, when called to fire the pressurized air bursts forth to supply your nose with the scent.
3. **What kind of scent system is being developed for the Omara (cartridge, modular, etc.)?**
- The Omara scent system is cartridge based, with 16 channels (1 for each scent) that have an average life span of ~60 hours of gameplay, or 3000 bursts per channel.
**What level of scent accuracy or variety is the team aiming for?**
- Our scent pack is designed to be on the pleasant side of the scent spectrum and cover a wide variety of scents. We are leveraging our perfumery, gaming, and neuroscience knowledge and have selected the best scents for the "common scent pack" to meet a wide variety of wants and needs AND to have the most impact
**Will the Omara require the use of a VR / XR device?**
- No, the Omara will not require the use of a VR / XR device. While one may be used based on the game you are playing, many of our compatible games are built for seated PC play.
**Will the Omara be designed to work with multiple platforms and devices?**
- Currently, the Omara can be used with a VR headset, seated PC play, and with a companion app not yet publicly available on Android, Windows, Mac, and iOS.
**How will the Omara connect to devices (wired, wireless, Bluetooth, etc.)?**
- The Omara has both the ability to connect wirelessly via Bluetooth, as well as through a USB connection on windows depending on game support.
4. **How will developers trigger scent cues or events within their experiences?**
- The process is very similar to programming sound. We have had many development partners create scent-enabled versions of their demos in roughly two weeks.
- Just like with sound you can have 3D spatialized scent or a single on demand burst, the choice is yours.

- We have our core 16 scents (list here) that can be used for programming objects, environments, or actions within Unreal or Unity.
- These scents can be fired dynamically at varying strengths (on a scale of 1-4).
**What safety standards or testing processes will the Omara go through?**
- CE, FCC, ISED EMC
5. **How is the team approaching accessibility, allergies, and scent sensitivity concerns?**
- Our fragrances are made with materials commonly found in fragrance products such as cosmetics, perfumes, soaps, and shampoos. To ensure the safety of our formulations, we follow the International Fragrance Association (IFRA) Standards and we receive a Certificate of Conformity with IFRA Standards.
- We also declare any fragrance allergens in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2023/1545 Allergen list
- For consumers who have scent allergies, or scent sensitivities concerns and avoid scent related products (e.g., candles, perfumes, scented body care products), we do not recommend using our product.
**Will there be user calibration tools for scent intensity or duration?**
- Yes, currently within both Unreal and Unity a developer can change the scent intensity.
6. **Is there an estimated timeline for public demos, beta testing, or release?**
- Demos and beta testing are happening right now in the US. Keep an eye on our socials for more information.

**Will the Omara eventually be available to consumers, developers, or both?**
- The Omara is currently available for development partners as part of our developer kit. The device will be available for consumers in 2026.
**Can I add my own scents to the Omara?** Not at this time.
