# Week 16 — Friday, December 11
## No Class — Collin College Fall Commencement
**No class meeting.** Final exam week runs Dec 7–13; commencement is today.
---
## Congratulations
You filed the graduation application back in Week 4, which means today counts.

## Three things worth doing this month
**1. One last cold pass on your site.** Open it in a private browsing window on a machine that isn't yours. Click every link. Play every video. It's the version of your work that will represent you for the next several months while you're busy doing other things.
**2. Put the maintenance cadence on an actual calendar.** From your 90-Day Plan: portfolio hours on named days, one new or reworked piece per quarter, network touched on a schedule rather than on need. In a calendar app with reminders — not in your head, where it will not survive January.
**3. Send three thank-yous.** Anyone who gave you time this semester: a guest speaker, someone who answered an informational message, a classmate who read your resume. Tell them specifically what you changed because of them.
That last one takes fifteen minutes and it's the single highest-return thing on this list. It's also the **90-day touch** from Week 10 — the second contact, where the relationship actually forms, and where almost everyone quits.

## The door stays open
Send me a portfolio for a read after you graduate. Genuinely — most students assume that offer expires today, and it doesn't.
And tell me where you land. I want to know.
