# Week 11 — Friday, November 6
## Appointments · Resume Sign-off + Website Build
**Your group hour. Lab open the full block.**
---
## Due today
- **Resume — final + tailored variant** (two PDFs, plus the posting)
- **Website — first draft (content)** — live URL, public
---
## Your conference
**Resume sign-off.** I check the Week 7 marks against the new draft, then look at the tailored variant beside its posting. Tailoring is the graded skill here — the base resume is just the source file. What I'm checking: did you mirror the job title honestly, did you harvest real vocabulary you actually have, and did you **cut** as well as add? Tailoring is subtraction as much as addition.
**Website content.** Four or more pieces up, each with the finished shot first, breakdowns beneath, and an honest role statement. Content, not polish — if you spent this week on margins, you were on the wrong assignment.
---
## Bring
- Both resume PDFs, printed
- The job posting you tailored to
- Your site, live, on screen — **and open it on your phone too.** A real share of first views happen on a phone in a hallway, and it's the check nobody runs.
---
## Track decision, if you haven't made it
The showcase piece is due in rough cut next week. If you're unsure whether you're delivering a reel or turntables/captures/a build, decide today. Some of you should do both — ask.
---
## Due next
| | When |
|---|---|
| **Showcase piece — plan / rough cut** + shot list PDF | Week 12 — Fri Nov 13 |
| Presentation script + timed dry run | Week 13 — Fri Nov 20 |
---
## Look at the calendar
There is **no class in Week 14** and campus is closed Nov 25–29. After next week you have exactly two meetings left — a dry run on Nov 20, and the final on Dec 4.
Work you're planning to do over Thanksgiving break will not happen. Plan accordingly, this week.
