Lab open the full block.** --- ## Due today **At least one finished piece placed publicly** on your platform — with breakdowns and a role statement. Checked live at your conference. "Uploaded but unpublished" doesn't count. --- ## Your conference We look at the placement the way a stranger would — cold, on screen, without your narration. - Does the thumbnail read at grid size? - Is the finished shot **first**, before the process images? - Do the breakdowns tell someone what you actually did? - Is the role statement honest and specific about your part? Then back to production work. --- ## The role statement, again Two to four sentences on every piece: what the goal was, **exactly what your role was**, what constraint you worked under, what tools, and one thing you'd change now. On team pieces, be precise about your part. Produced by A Bunch of Short Guys, the Dallas animation guild. Two things to do **now**, not on October 2: 1. **Tickets are on Humanitix** and prices step up as the date approaches. Search host "A Bunch of Short Guys." 2. **Register with your `.edu` email.** Student tickets bought with a Gmail address can be rejected. Ask me about student discount codes before you buy. Not required, and it earns Community Involvement extra credit. But the timing is genuinely unusual — you'll learn the resume, the introduction, and the informational ask on Friday, and be in a 400-person room the next morning. --- Skim the **Week 6 page** and the **Resume — First Draft** assignment before next Friday.
