### Here are the steps for rendering the composition in Adobe Media Encoder from After Effects: 1. Open the **composition** you want to render in Adobe After Effects. 2. Choose **Composition** > **Add to Adobe Media Encoder Queue...** in the After Effects menu bar. 3. Alternatively, select **File** > **Export** > **Add to Adobe Media Encoder Queue**... 4. **Adobe Media Encoder** will open, and your After Effects composition will appear in the **Queue**. 5. In the **Queue**, click on the **Format *blue type*** under your composition. This opens up the **Export Settings dialog**. 6. In the **Export Settings dialog**, choose the output format as " **H.264** " 7. From the **Preset** drop-down menu, choose a **YouTube** or **Vimeo** preset that ***matches your composition resolution***. This is the simplest way to create a movie that you can post immediately to these services without it being recompressed. These are also optimized settings for quality, file size, and universal playback. 8. You can scrub through the **timeline** below the **video preview** in order to check the ***beginning*** and ***end*** of your composition. You can also set the **work area** from this timeline using the **in and out points** under the **blue line**. Make sure that there is **not** a bunch of black or blank video after your composition. 9. Click **OK** to close the Export Settings dialog. 10. Click on the ***blue text*** under **Output File** to choose the directory and to name your rendered movie. 11. Back in the Media Encoder **Queue**, hit the **Play** (arrowhead) button to begin rendering your composition. ### Here are the images for the above: The Media Encoder Queue: ![[Pasted image 20260606124558.png]] The Export Settings dialog window: ![[Pasted image 20260606124601.png]] The Timeline below the video preview: ![[Pasted image 20260606124605.png]]
